Cheerios in your bowl of cereal
Bid "Cheerio" to an English Mirial
"Three cheers for us!" Victory is ours
Cheerleaders assembling into towers
Cheer up old chap, good times are near
Cheering in the streets, the troops are here!
That cheerful face of yours is quite enlightening
A cheery smile that's rather frightening
I see all this in clinking buoys in milk
A sea of smiles in bleached white waves of silk
So when I pour cheerios in my bowl
My face loses trace of any scowl
For I have cheerios in my bowl of cereal
And I bid "Cheerio" to an English Mirial...
